Sami Aldeeb – The West has to choose between destroying itself or destroying Islam

There is no need to accumulate quotations from Western leaders, politicians and intellectuals arguing that Islam can acclimatize and coexist with Western culture. With just a little knowledge you will find that these people are either ignorant, or cowards or opportunists.

Uri Avnery, an Israeli activist campaigning for the creation of a Palestinian state separated from Israel, citing the passage from Isaiah 11: 6 “The wolf shall dwell with the lamb”, says that this ideal of peace is only attainable if you change the lamb daily. He believes that the cohabitation between Jews and Muslims is impossible. Therefore, he requires the separation between the two groups.

Personally, I am against the creation of two states in Palestine / Israel and I think that cohabitation between Jews and non-Jews is possible if…

What conditions? Example of Switzerland

The first “religious wars” in Europe broke out between the Catholic cantons and the Protestant cantons, in 1529 and 1531. When you observe the religious harmony reigning in Switzerland, and its economic prosperity it would be difficult to imagine that the people of this country killed each other for religious reasons. This peace is a miracle due to the strength and wisdom of the constituents who drafted the constitution in 1874, which makes a clear distinction between religion and state. This constitution appeared a year after the rupture of relations between Switzerland and the Vatican motivated by its dogma of infallibility. And today the Pope’s guard is composed exclusively of Swiss!

But what does the constitution of 1874 which secured peace and prosperity of Switzerland say?

This constitution imposed the following measures:

• Establishment of registers of civil status (Article 53)
• Institution of civil marriage by rejecting the religious impediment (allowing marriage between Catholics and Protestants) (Article 54)
• Recognition of religious freedom and the right to change religion at the age of 16 years (Article 49)
• Abolition of ecclesiastical courts (Article 58)
• Equality of citizens (Article 60)
• Institution of popular votes (Article 90)
• Prohibition of ritual slaughter (Article 25a introduced in 1893)
• Takeover of the cemeteries by the civil authorities (Article 53)

By ensuring the separation of religion and state, freedom of religion, equality before the law, including among the dead, and the people’s participation in the adoption of laws, Switzerland has been able to create the conditions for peaceful coexistence between the different religious communities, and ensure economic prosperity. No one, or almost no one, would invest or create a business in a country ravaged by internal conflicts.

These are the principles that Israel / Palestine should adopt to ensure peaceful coexistence between its various components. Without such principles, even if you create two states in Palestine / Israel, this region will never know peace. However, neither the Jews nor Muslims accept these principles … Therefore they are condemned to mutual destruction until the end of time … or the return to reason. And what applies to Palestine / Israel applies to all Arab and Muslim countries.

Napoleon and the Jews

When Napoleon wanted to regularize the situation of Jews and give them French nationality, he asked them (imposed to them) twelve questions (conditions):

1. Is it lawful for Jews to have more than one wife?
2. Is divorce allowed in the Jewish religion, and if it is, is it allowed even in contradiction to the codes of French law?
3.  Does Jewish law permit a Jewess to marry a Christian man, or a Jew to marry a Christian woman, or may they marry only other Jews?
4. In the eyes of Jews, are Frenchmen who are not Jewish, considered to be their brethren or strangers?
5. What type of conduct does Jewish law prescribe toward non-Jewish Frenchmen?
6.  Do the Jews who are born in France, and have been granted citizenship by the laws of France, truly acknowledge France as their country? Are they bound to defend it, to follow its laws, to follow the directions of the civil and court authorities of France?
7.  Who elects rabbis?
8. What kind of judicial power do rabbis exercise over the Jews?
9. If there is rabbinical jurisdiction over the Jews, is it regulated by the laws of the Jewish religion or is it merely a custom existing among Jews?
10. Are there professions from which Jews are excluded by Jewish law?
11. Does Jewish law prohibit Jews from taking usury from other Jews?
12. Does Jewish law prohibit Jews from taking usury from non-Jews?

Rehabilitation of the English system of convicts

Why not refine these Napoleonic conditions and impose them to Muslims, under the title: France, Germany, etc., you accept its laws or leave it?

Those who refuse to submit to those laws, have to be parachuted in their country of origin, or send them to an international protectorate created over half of Saudi Arabia, able to accommodate 100 million Muslims. This solution must also apply to all Muslim women who want to wear the veil despite its prohibition by law, and all Muslim prisoners in French, German, Belgian, Swiss jails, … who may destroy these countries after completing their sentences. It shall also apply to all Muslim immigrants. Let us recall that Britain had used this method deporting convicts to Australia…. It also used it to rule out the danger of Napoleon, by sending him in 1815, until his death in the island of St. Helena, a volcanic island located in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean, 1930 km of the African coast.

To see if the West can coexist with Islam … without being destroyed … we must know what Islam teaches. Let us recall the following Islamic principles based on the Quran and the Sunnah of Muhammad:

• Inequality between men and women in marriage, divorce, inheritance, testimony, sanctions and employment, marriage of prepubescent girls and the male and female circumcision of children.
• Inequality between Muslims and non-Muslims in marriage, divorce, inheritance, testimony, sanctions and employment.
• Non-recognition of religious freedom, especially the freedom to change religion.
• Exhortation to fight non-Muslims, to occupy their countries, to impose tribute (jizya) on non-Muslims and to kill those who do not follow the monotheistic religions. See in this regard my two books in French: Le jihad dans l’islam: Amazon  et Le tribut (jizya) dans l’islam: Amazon
• Slavery, capture of the enemies and appropriation of their women.
• Cruel punishments such as the killing of the apostate (the one who abandons Islam), stoning of the adulterers, amputation of the hands of thieves, crucifixion, flogging and retaliation (an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth). These principles are applicable at all times and in all places, and should not be repealed; they can at best be put on hold for a while, waiting for more favourable circumstances for their application.

With such principles, it is impossible for the West to live with Islam without destroying itself. The alternative is to destroy the sanctity of the Koran, to consider it as a criminogenic book. And this means nothing other than the destruction of Islam.

I would even add that Muslims cannot live peacefully with each other without destroying Islam.
